About Us

Making food labeling accessible for everyone.

I started this company because I had long wanted to work in the food industry. Just simple curiosity about food ingredients also drove me to establish the company, but what makes my work meaningful is helping people who need to understand what is in the food they eat.

From my experience in this business, I have realized that the food labeling system in Japan is quite complex.
I think simplifying complex concepts into easy-to-understand ones can provide values to both consumers and businesses.

To help people who manufacture food products resolve their regulation and labeling issues and close the information and knowledge gap between consumers.

Based on the above ideas, Label bank can be of some help to for many people to choose more delicious food with higher quality.

Making food labeling accessible for everyone.

We have developed a specialized data engine for food labeling called “Food labeling Regulation Omnirange Guide System”, into which a wide range of data is stored: terms (for ingredients) used on food labeling, regulations related to the use of such ingredients, and also the decisions tree regarding the relation between these regulations and ingredients.

This data engine is an all-around database, and was developed with the purpose of providing a tool that everyone could use, rather than being restricted to individual skills.
It is included in our “Food Labeling Checker” system, but we also use it during most of our in-house projects (label developments and reviews) as a final review tool.

Such comprehensive system that ensures adequate food labeling for your products will provide you with far more than just a reduced amount of labeling mistakes: With it, you have the tools to immediately deal with questions like “Where is this material from?”, “What are the allergens in this product?” and as such, you can provide a much more reliable service to your consumers and distributors. Product categories, distribution channels, and selling methods have never been so diversified and varied; improving the consumers’ trust toward a product is without doubt a great chance to increase/expand its sales.

We believe that it is important to set out and ensure that, in order to create adequate food labeling, your dedicated system is easy to manage and use for reviewing labels.
